Cookies are small text files a website stores in your browser. This page lists every cookie Smartappreview itself sets, why, and what we deliberately don't use. It supplements our Privacy Policy.

Cookies we use

Session / auth cookie	Supabase Auth (first-party)	Keeps you signed in between requests. Strictly necessary: the Service can't authenticate you without it.
Bot-detection cookie	Cloudflare Turnstile	Set only on our sign-up page, to distinguish real signups from automated/bot signups. Treated as strictly necessary/security-related, so it doesn't require opt-in consent, but we disclose it here for transparency.

Cookies we deliberately don't use

We don't use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. We do run two client-side scripts, neither of which sets a cookie or writes anything to local storage. The first is Sentry's error-monitoring script, which only transmits an error report directly to Sentry when something breaks. The second is PostHog's web analytics script, which we use to count site visits and see which countries they come from; it runs in a cookieless mode, so instead of storing an ID in your browser, PostHog computes a privacy-preserving, one-way hash on its own servers from your IP address and browser type plus a salt that rotates daily and is then deleted. Neither script writes anything to your browser, and neither ties your visit to a persistent cross-site identifier, so neither triggers cookie-consent requirements. Our product analytics (PostHog) also runs separately and entirely on our servers for signed-in accounts, tied to your internal account ID rather than a browser cookie. If any of this ever changes (for example, if we add a cookie-based analytics or advertising script, or enable a feature that writes to browser storage), we will update this page and, where required, ask for your consent before setting any new non-essential cookie.

Lemon Squeezy checkout

When you upgrade or manage billing, we redirect you to a checkout or billing-portal page hosted on Lemon Squeezy's own domain. Any cookies set there are set by Lemon Squeezy, not by us, and are governed by Lemon Squeezy's own cookie and privacy policies, not this one.

Managing cookies

Because the cookies above are necessary/security-related, there's no in-product toggle to disable them without breaking sign-in or sign-up. You can still block or delete cookies through your browser's settings, but doing so for this site will likely sign you out or interfere with sign-up.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Cookie Policy as the cookies we use change. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above.
